Course Structure
The Programme is a 116 - Credit Programme spread over two years. Each credit is equal to 10 sessions. Each sessions is of 60 minutes duration. It is offered in four distinct, but integrative, packages as under.

- Core Package
- Experimential Learning Package
- Elective Package
Preparatory Package
The preparatory package is optional and designed to provide minimum skills that are essential to pursue the Programme in the following areas:
- English Speaking and Writing Skills
- Mathematics
- Accounting Basics
- Computer Basics
- The package is organized for two weeks
Core Package
The Core Package consists of four segments: the Foundation Segment; the Integrative Segment, the International Business Segment and Foreign Language Segment.
The Foundation Segment consists of courses designed to provide basic knowledge of concepts, tools, and techniques in management. These foundation courses are offered in three trimesters spread over the first year of the Programme. In all the functional areas, global dimensions will also be emphasized.
The Integrative Segment consists of three courses designed to provide a framework within which all foundation courses are blended into integrated management know-how. These courses are offered in the fourth and fifth trimesters in the second year of the Programme.
The International Business Segment consists of courses designed to provide knowledge in International Business that a manager operating in the dynamic global context should be equipped with for becoming effective and successful. These courses are spread from third through fifth trimesters in the Programme. In addition, the core package includes a module that gives the student an opportunity to learn a Foreign Language (French/ German/ Spanish/) in the second and third trimesters. Experiential Learning Package
The Experiential Learning Package is designed to provide hands-on experience of learning in the field. After completing three trimesters of course-work in the first year of the Programme, the student will have an opportunity to get trained in a business organization for two months. During this period, the student will have the opportunity to apply the concepts learned in the first three trimesters to practical problems in the field. Besides, the student will have the opportunities to visit ports and corporate houses. These opportunities are provided from second through third trimesters. Elective Package
The Elective Package is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge to augment skills in an area of student’s choice. The electives include International Business; Strategic Management; Accounting, Finance and Control; Marketing; HRM and Small Business & Entrepreneurship. Choice of Electives
The student has to choose three electives each in trimesters IV and V and two in trimester-VI. It is strongly advised that the student should select the portfolio of electives keeping in view his/her career interests. In the trimester-VI, the student has a choice to work on a Research Project/Business Proposal under the guidance of a faculty member in lieu of one of the electives. Audit Courses
